- YesOman’s American concierges have been living and trekking in Oman for well over a decade.
During this time, we have taken numerous groups of Americans and others out and about to all
of the main attractions and the lesser visited but equally impressive ones. - YesOman has the strongest local support network of any Oman travel company. Throughout the
country we have 24/7 access to medical professionals, pharmacists, automotive experts, and
other health and safety professionals. No other agency has this level of personal contacts and
support. - Over the years YesOman has developed deep personal relations with multiple Omani tour guides
which have all been reviewed and qualified according to our strenuous best practice
requirements. - Did we mention YesOman’s clean toilet guarantee? We know the needs of the market and the
concerns. No other travel company here has a map of the “cleanest public toilets in Oman.” - No other company takes connectivity with the “folks back home” as seriously as YesOman. All
of our clients are connected via WhatsAp groups and all tours have consistent internet access to
share their experiences as soon as they wish. - There is no other travel company in the world which knows Oman better than YesOman.
- YesOman does not book your airline tickets. But we have agreements with both Emirates and
Qatar Airways for stopover packages in Dubai and Doha, respectively, and promo codes for your
booking of the airline tickets. And of course, our concierge service is available 24/7 to assist you
with the booking details.
- Once you have booked a tour you are set. We ensure that your hotels are all booked and your
tour guides confirmed. - We provide a meet and greet service at the Muscat international airport to ensure that your tour
gets off to a friendly start. - For our guests who are flying internally from Muscat to Salalah, YesOman will book these airline
tickets for you.
- We may be a bit biased, having lived here for over a decade. But well, yes. Extremely safe. So safe
that we walk away from our phones, laptops, etc. while working in public coffee shops in the
malls. And we don’t give it a second thought (don’t try this in your home country). - We like this analogy: Maine. Oman is as safe and as friendly as the U.S. state of Maine:

YesOman has agreements with the leading 4 and 5 star hotels in Oman. All hotels have been
thoroughly inspected. Selection of hotels is driven by value for money, cleanliness, and customer
service.
Payments are made via credit/debit card, PayPal, via our secured payment gateway or direct wire
transfer to our US bank account.
- In the unlikely event of any problems, YesOman has staff on the ground 24/7 to assist you.
YesOman’s strong local network is available 24/7 to support any type of problem or emergency. - Moreover, you will be connected 24/7 with YesOman staff, and with your family back home via
WhatsAp, etc. (if you want this of course). Continuous connectivity and communication is a
hallmark of YesOman.
We work with any sized group, and work 1-on-1 with you to ensure that each group member’s experience is a unique life time experience.
- You should plan for no less than 7 complete days in Oman. That’s the minimum. Our tours can
range up to 14 days. Which gives our guests the opportunity to explore all of the country. - We recommend that you come to Oman via Doha, Qatar or Dubai, UAE in order to explore
these amazing cities with Qatar Airway’s or Emirate’s stop over packages.
- Each tour is a unique glamping experience. Every tour combines both Oman’s natural beauty
and its rich cultural heritage. Meaning that there will be hiking about, driving about, and meals
spent in the homes of Omani families getting familiar with the local people and their traditions. - We drive a lot here. But our guests do not come to Oman for the quality roads. Our tours are
designed to break up the driving with excursions and culturally immersive experiences (think
lunch with the local residents).
- It gets hot here in the summer. Think Arizona. As such we recommend visiting from October to
April, plus or minus a few weeks on either side. - Regardless of the time of year, bring swim suits and sunscreen!
- YesOman has established relations with Emirates and Qatar Airways, both of which fly from 12
US cities. - Oman Air flies to Muscat via London, Zurich, Paris. Munich, and Frankfurt,
- Turkish Airlines flies from 8 US cities via Istanbul.
- We recommend flying to Doha or Dubai on Qatar Airways or Emirates. Then spending 2 – 3
nights taking advantage of the stop over packages we have negotiated with both airlines. This
allows you to stay in luxurious 5 star accommodations and take city tours from both airlines, all
at rock bottom prices. - Flying from Seattle to Doha or Dubai is about 14 hours. And about 12 hours from New York.
- It’s then 1 to 1.5 hours to Muscat, Oman, arriving fresh and ready to glamp!
- Each of our Omani guides is fully certified and insured. Each is a fluent English speaker and an
expert in the history, culture, and topography of Oman. Each one is trained in CPR and first aid.
Each once has completed expert drivers training for both on and off road driving. - We know this for a fact-we have a comprehensive checklist of requirements which must be met
prior to approving a guide to be a YesOman Guide.
- Oman can be an expensive country. To keep our travel costs down we negotiate heavily with our
hotels, tourist camps, etc. to obtain the greatest value for money for our guests. This of course
frees up more money for souvenirs and gifts to take back home.
- Well, it’s “glamping” after all. But it’s up to the tastes and preferences of our guest. This is your
trip-you tell us and we respect your requests.
